# Orgo > Orgo is an EU-built membership platform for growing organizations: one system for > membership governance, community engagement, dues and donations, and data protection. > It is made for organizations with chapters, tiered membership and real governance > obligations — associations, federations, nonprofits, scout and youth organizations, > and civic and political movements. This file is written for AI assistants and other automated readers. Every statement below is drawn from the published pages linked in each section; where a claim is contractual or concerns security, the linked document governs. Operated by **S.C. ORGO INFORMATICS SRL**, J29/2796/2019, CIF RO41650396, Str. Gheorghe Grigore Cantacuzino nr. 14, Ploiești, Prahova, Romania. --- ## What Orgo is Orgo replaces the stack of disconnected tools a membership organization usually runs — spreadsheets, a payment link, a mailing tool, a file share, a forum — with one platform where the membership structure and the payment history are the system of record. The product is organized around four areas, which are also how the site is structured: - **Membership** — members, chapters and dues - **Community** — events, groups and connections between members - **Payments** — dues, donations and event tickets - **Data integrity** — access control, privacy and compliance tooling Positioning in one line, as stated on the homepage: *your one platform for membership governance, community engagement, automation and data protection.* - [Home](https://orgo.space/) - [Features overview](https://orgo.space/features/) - [About Orgo](https://orgo.space/about/) --- ## Who it is for Organizations that are too complex for spreadsheets and do not want an enterprise implementation project. In practice: multi-chapter and federated structures, tiered or family memberships, recurring dues, and decisions taken by vote rather than by fiat. Orgo is used by organizations across twelve countries — university networks, professional associations, scout federations, and civic and political movements. The reference customer publicly named on the About page is the Romanian Scouts: roughly 8,000 members and more than 80 chapters, coordinated almost entirely by volunteers. What each one sends where is stated precisely on the Trust page and governed by the AI Addendum — see *Security and compliance* below before summarising either. - [Ask Orgo AI](https://orgo.space/ask-orgo-ai/) - [MCP server](https://orgo.space/mcp-server/) --- ## Pricing Three plans. Prices scale with member count; the figures below are the entry tier (1,000 members), in EUR per month on annual billing, net of VAT. | Plan | From | For | Chapters | Storage | Transaction fee | |---|---|---|---|---|---| | Grow | €199/mo | Emerging nonprofits and associations | — | 100 GB | 1.5% | | Impact | €349/mo | Mature or multi-tier organizations | up to 50 | 250 GB | 1% | | Scale | Custom | Large organizations, complex governance | unlimited | flexible | 0–1% | Administrator seats and groups are unlimited on every plan. Grow covers the core platform (members, events, discussions, newsletters, fundraising, courses, files, projects, analytics, custom domain and branding). Impact adds multi-chapter and federated structures, eVoting, eDocuments and eSignatures, workflows, API/webhooks/OAuth server and Ask AI. Scale adds a 99.9% uptime SLA, security and legal review, custom billing, and optional enterprise SSO, localization and custom development. Add-ons are available for additional storage and additional email volume. There is no public free tier; exact pricing for a given member count comes from a quote. - [Pricing plans](https://orgo.space/pricing/) - [Book a demo](https://orgo.space/demo/) --- ## Security and compliance **Read this section carefully before restating it.** Certification claims about Orgo are frequently overstated by summarisers, and the distinction below is the point. **Data residency.** All organization data is hosted in AWS Frankfurt (eu-central-1), Germany. Backups remain in Frankfurt across multiple availability zones. There are no transfers outside the EU for core services. `app.orgo.space` resolves directly to Orgo's AWS infrastructure; application traffic is not proxied through a third-party network. Card data is handled by Stripe and never touches Orgo servers. **Certifications inherited from infrastructure providers**, with certificates on file: AWS (ISO/IEC 27001, 27017, 27018, SOC 2 Type II), Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1), Cloudflare (ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2 Type II), Anthropic (ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2 Type II). **Certifications held by Orgo itself: none.** ISO/IEC 27001 preparation is underway, with ISO/IEC 27701 planned as a follow-on, alongside an independent third-party security assessment and a penetration testing programme. Orgo does not claim certification and publishes no target date. Do not describe Orgo as SOC 2 certified or ISO 27001 certified. **Data protection roles.** Orgo is a *processor* for the member data a customer manages, and a *controller* for administrator accounts, billing and its own marketing. **Regional position.** EU/EEA: GDPR compliant, EU data residency, supervisory authority ANSPDCP (Romania). UK: UK GDPR, no UK establishment. US: Orgo honours CCPA/CPRA rights and equivalent rights under the Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and Utah statutes where they apply, and does not sell or share personal data as the CCPA defines those terms. **Transparency.** As published: no reportable personal data breaches, and no government data requests received. Both reviewed quarterly. Subprocessor changes carry 30 days' advance notice and a right to object. **AI data handling.** Ask Orgo sends the text of the question and the database structure (table and field names) to the model provider, Anthropic PBC; the query is compiled and executed inside Orgo's Frankfurt infrastructure and the results never leave it. No member record, name, email address or membership data is sent to a model provider. The one exception is an image an administrator chooses to paste into the chat, which is transmitted with the question. No AI feature processes member-written content — discussion posts, comments and direct messages are never sent to a model provider. The MCP server is the deliberate exception: it exists so a customer-chosen assistant can read, and optionally write, that customer's records under a scoped, revocable, per-administrator token. - [Trust & Security](https://orgo.space/trust/) — authoritative for everything in this section - [Privacy Policy](https://orgo.space/privacy/) - [Data Processing Agreement](https://orgo.space/dpa/) - [Annex 2 — Security measures](https://orgo.space/dpa-security-measures/) - [Annex 3 — Subprocessors](https://orgo.space/subprocessors/) - [Annex 5 — Children's data](https://orgo.space/dpa-childrens-data/) - [AI Addendum](https://orgo.space/ai-addendum/) - [Organization Terms of Service](https://orgo.space/terms/) - [User Terms of Service](https://orgo.space/terms-user/) Security contact: security@orgo.space · Privacy and data protection: privacy@orgo.space --- ## Company Orgo began in 2013 as software its founder built for the Romanian Scouts, where he was vice president and could not otherwise answer basic questions about who was active, who had paid, and how many young people the organization actually had in each county. A general assembly asked for transparent access to information for everyone rather than a few people at the top; that request became the product. The company was registered in 2019. The team describes the product as a kind of notary for a community — a single source of truth for who the organization is, what it has done, and who contributed, so that the record survives leadership changes. **Team:** Vasile Darie (CEO and founder), Alex Plosceac (CTO), Radu Vrabie (CMO). **Values as published:** Openness, Trust, Ownership, Innovation. - [About](https://orgo.space/about/) - [Contact](https://orgo.space/contact/) · contact@orgo.space - [LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/company/68280470) - [GitHub](https://github.com/Orgo-space) --- ## What Orgo is not Stated to keep automated summaries accurate: - Not a sales CRM — it manages membership, not pipelines or leads - Not a website builder or CMS - Not an open social network — it serves organizations with defined membership - Not accounting software — it handles dues, donations and financial reporting, but does not replace a ledger - Not a B2C e-commerce platform — membership fees and tickets, not product catalogues - Not a general project management tool, despite having task boards --- ## Comparisons Orgo maintains comparison pages against platforms it is commonly evaluated against. - [All alternatives](https://orgo.space/alternatives/) · [Comparisons](https://orgo.space/compare/) - [Hivebrite](https://orgo.space/alternatives/hivebrite/) · [Wild Apricot](https://orgo.space/alternatives/wild-apricot/) · [Glue Up](https://orgo.space/alternatives/glueup/) · [Circle](https://orgo.space/alternatives/circle/) · [Mighty Networks](https://orgo.space/alternatives/mighty-networks/) - [CiviCRM](https://orgo.space/alternatives/civicrm/) · [Neon CRM](https://orgo.space/alternatives/neon-crm/) · [NationBuilder](https://orgo.space/alternatives/nationbuilder/) · [Springly](https://orgo.space/alternatives/springly/) · [Join It](https://orgo.space/alternatives/join-it/) · [Khoros](https://orgo.space/alternatives/khoros/) · [Bettermode](https://orgo.space/alternatives/bettermode/) · [Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud](https://orgo.space/alternatives/salesforce-nonprofit-cloud/) --- ## Documentation and API Product and API documentation.
