Will my price go up every time I get a new member?

Our tier-based pricing is designed in favor of growing organizations. In a per-member model, every new member who joins would increase your bill, creating a direct tension between your organization's mission (to grow) and your budget. We've eliminated that tension. Once you've entered a tier, you have room to grow without financial surprises. The faster you grow within a tier, the lower your cost per member becomes, and that's how it should be.

What happens when my org grows beyond a tier?

We'll notify you before you reach the limit. The upgrade to the next tier applies from the next billing period, not retroactively. There are no service interruptions and no hidden overage fees.

How are active members counted?

Active members are people with an account who can log in to the platform. Past members, donors, event attendees, and newsletter subscribers are stored as contacts and do not count toward your pricing tier.

Can I downgrade if my member count decreases?

Yes, you can downgrade at any time. The adjustment applies at the next billing period. Your data remains intact.

Why not per-member pricing?

We've worked with nonprofits and associations for over 7 years. We've learned that these organizations typically approve budgets annually, often through committees. A fixed, predictable cost is much easier to approve than an invoice that fluctuates monthly based on how many members sign up. Tier-based pricing gives you budget predictability and freedom to grow.

How do transaction fees work?

Orgo charges a platform fee on payments processed through the platform (dues, donations, tickets). This is in addition to standard Stripe processing fees. Impact and Scale plans have 0% Orgo transaction fees, you only pay Stripe.

Where is my data hosted?

All data is hosted in the European Union (AWS Frankfurt). Full GDPR compliance with EU data sovereignty, and your data never leaves Europe.

Can I switch plans at any time?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, with prorated billing for the remaining period. Downgrades apply at the next billing cycle.

Is there a free trial?

We don't offer a self-service free trial, but we do offer a personalized demo where we set up a sandbox environment tailored to your organization. This way you can evaluate Orgo with your real use case, not a generic trial.

Do you offer discounts for nonprofits?

Our pricing is already designed for nonprofits and associations. The tier-based model means you get better value as you grow. For organizations with special circumstances, contact our sales team to discuss options.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, SEPA direct debit for EU organizations, and bank transfers for annual plans. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
